Window Size

Is there a way the page itself could resize when someone
resizes the window manually the page would resize also.
I want to show the whole page all the time no matter what
size the window is. I know it's small but if someone resized
the to say 10x10 the page would fit the window.
I use DW MX

then it is not possible...unless you make your whole site an image and that will look horrendous

You could use tables/tble cells and images with % values.

Unless you know what you are doing, this WILL stuff in old netcrap versions,. and will look dodgy in IE in some cases anyway.

You could do two sites, one aimed at IE, and have a browser sniff so the one that didn't size up or down was viewed by netscape... but ask yourself...

What is the point? Who is going to be resizing the page Up and down? Why do you to have the page always fit? Do you want to be limited bythis. Was this only a hypothetical or did you ahve some purpose here.

The wright brothers weren't limited by browsers, only by their knowledge of physics.

You can learn physics, you can't change how browsers render webpages.

Seriously though, I'm not saying don't try, just it's going to be a lot of work for a not necessarily very good result so perhaps look at the project from another angle?

What's the effect? Can you describe it?

I have been doing design for a number of years and I have
a client that wants this done. He is paying me vary well
for his vanity site. He is really not concerned who looks
at the site. He keep his IE browser up todate and is the only browser he use. I can't give out any info right now (bound by contract)but once the site goes live then it's up for grab.

ya good luck.....its not possible...but if you do manage to get your site to fit in ANY SIZE WINDOW....ill buy you a pint should you ever be in the Southern California Area....otherwise its on you
