I have to now use a webmail app (Novell Groupwise Webaccess) running in MSIE 6 under WinXP. It's irritating enough after being forced to downgrade from Outlook, but the damned thing has a short timeout and I'm forever re-logging in.
This behavior made me recall the days of AOL's timeouts, and the little utility programs that people had to run to keep AOL's GUI busy every so often in order to not be kicked off the server.
I was wading through MS's scripting documentation -- thinking that perhaps I could use WSH -- but the help documentation says nothing about manipulating any window, hence I must have missed the clue train once again.
Getting kicked off Outlook (just when I was getting the hang of some helpful VBA scripts) was very frustrating. Is there a generic app-freshener utility? Is there a good online resource for automating window-management in WinXP?
