Winamp 2.74 will not playing my saved song lists

I am using Winamp 2.74, on Win 2000 pro. I can get indiviual songs to play just fine, but I can not get a single list (previously saved) to play correctly. When I open a saved list and click play all it does it scroll through all the songs. I can stop it but the instant I click play again it scrolls to the end of the playlist and will not play anything in that list.
I have run antivirus checks and there in nothing on this machine. It is a HP and has run perfect up until yesterday 7/23/02. I have come up with some ideas but nothing solid, and nothing that I would try without some EXPERT advice first.
Please help me, this really sucks.

Run Notepad or any text editor. Open winamp list file (m3u). Look for the drive name / path name for each MP3 songs.

Does it point to the proper directory ?

Thank you that worked. I replaced the directory in which all songs where pointing. It turns out that they where all not pointing to the right directory. But It Works. THank you again and thank you for teaching me something new. And my friend say that she greatly appreciates it.
