I have installed Office 2000 on a win98 box that has three user profiles setup on it. I did not install the software under any of the profiles. When trying to run the software under any of the profiles a message appears stating that the software needs to be installed. How do I update the profiles to allow them to use the software? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In the generation section of the user profiles makes sure you tell it that all users have access to all files...

I believe that during the installaion you should have done a custom setup and specified all users not just the one you were logged in as.

Start Menu>Settings>Control Panel, double click on the Passwords Icon. Go to the User Profiles Tab (If you have more than 1 user using the PC) and I believe you can set an option to all users of this PC use the same settings (I now use Win2K and barely remember.) Hope this helps
