Hi, thanks for reading my post. When I right click on a file/hyperlink to download, for some reason it automatically triggers my floppy drive as the default to where it saves and after I cancel the message box informs me to put a disk in and retry or cancel, it then brings up the window to let me choose where I want to download it and what to name it and such. I also noticed on one of my word processing programs when I hit "File/Save As" it does the same thing. This is something new, and I don't know why my computer is doing this. Is there anything I can do to take this automatic route to the floppy drive out? Thank you for your time.

Open the explorer, it will probably do the same.
Insert a diskette.
Click on C:
Close explorer.
Fixed !
If it still does it in Word or so, save a doc to C: and close Word.
This ussually happens when you last worked on A: and close the application.
