I have a Windows 98 machine that kept restarting. It would get to the desktop, sometimes would restart immediately sometimes would last a few minutes. I formatted the hard drive and re-installed Win98 SE but the problem is still there. Does anyone have any idea where to start?? any suggestions appreciated.

Thanks. did that but picked up no errors.

Update bios on motherboard, put in different ram and different video card. If video is integrated in the board, disable it in bios and put in an agp or pci video card.
