A friend called and has a prob. When he opens My Computer or My Documents, in the status bar it reads that he has XX number of items and XXMB. However, can not actually see any files or folders. He tried installing Windows 98Plus, hoping it would help, but not.

Did a ctrl + alt + del, and the only thing running that we don't know what it is, is "wcqkpick"

Any sugguestions? What other kind of information would help solve this problem.

Click on this link and see if that is the problem:

As for as the "wcqkpick" click on Start>run and type msinfo32. Expand 'Software Environment' and click on 'Running Tasks' This will give you the path of the executable, you can then go to that folder and it might help you determine what it is.
