Hi!

I have a problem using a win98 bootdisk wich I want to boot over the network using pxe. I want to create an image of a bootable dos disk with acces to the network. I used Barts universal TCP/IP disk ( in order to create the disk. It needs a winXP bootdisk since the needed files consume most of the disk's space and the winXP dos is much smaller than the win98 dos disk. The disk worked fine when i tested it.
Then I created an image of the disk and tried to boot it over the network using tftp32 as a tftp and dhcp server and pxelinux as a bootloader. The disk hung right after the image was downloaded. Therefore I changed the image size to 2.88 MB, replaced the winxp system files by win98 system files. After that i managed to boot the disk.
Here's my problem: The system crashes whenever I launch an application. The disk has got the network drivers compressed in a cab-file and copies them into the ram using xmsdisk. I tried to start emm386.exe but then i get an error message saying that the ramdrive in inacessible.

Any ideas?!

Thanks in advance!
