i have a Acer P133 cpu. yes i know old and outdated but it still works to surf the net & other applications.]

Last week it crashed and will not reboot.

i have no important data on the disk and so i do not care if i have to reinstall windows.

in fact i have tried to put in the windows 95 installation disk (cd rom) but it does not recognize the drive.
I think i need a floppy disk (which i do not have ) is there a way to override the system which will allow me to use the cd rom.

I would suggest a 98 boot disk also. Use the 95 to prepare your hard drive but use the 98 to access the setup on the CD. 98 has better CD support. Ed Fair
