I have a shared resource folder that I would like to be able to get to by IP Address but cannot seem to figure out how to do it. i can do this in Windows 2000 but not so in Windows 95. I want to get to an IP address \\<ip>\<foldername>. But I also need to be able to connect as a different user. So on Windows 2000 it looks like this net use z: \\102.13.126.96\folder1 /user:me asdf2sdf

This all works but not in Windows 95. Any ideas? Thanks. -db

win95's net use command does not have the /user switch. So, if the folder you're trying to map is on an NT/2k/XP machine, I think you'll need a user on that machine with same credentials (id/password) as you logon to win95 with. Then use net use without /user switch.
