We still have our old Win2K Environment - and we are migrating to Win2k3 in a 1 year project ...

The problem is now that the Terminal Services are getting stopped because of the grace period of 120 days ...

The Domain Controllers are Win2K ...
what shall we do exactly to enable the Terminal Services without Problems ? should we activate all the Win2K3 from the Internet ? what should we buy ?

the Information on Microsoft Website is generic - and I need more specification for my case ...

You will need to install Terminal Server Licensing and purchase the required number of TS Per User CAL's. They are maybe 50 bucks each. User CALS are not monitored as much as Device CALS, which do attach to the workstation and can be deleted but only via Registry key.

Is there any need to register the server itself at Microsoft site and activate it ?
