I am setting up the Win2K3 DNS server for a domain covering 10.101.72.0/22. What do I put for the Network ID when configuring a reverse-lookup zone?

My concern is that if I put 10.101.72 it won't cover 10.101.73.1-10.101.75.254 - do I just need to setup additional reverse-lookup zones for these? Will that hurt AD's ability to autoconfigure its reverse-lookup zone when I promote this computer to a DC?

zeveck,

What you really have here is a subnetting question. You're using a class A IP range with a subnet mask of 255.255.252.0.

This subnet mask will cover the IP range 10.101.72.1-10.101.75.254 (assuming that you can't use the host and broadcast IP's).
