Hi guys, A few months ago I setup a VPN at the Small Biz I work at it. This was the first time I had ever set one up, but I followed the instructions on MS Technet and after fixinga few problems i got it all working good. I did this because I wanted to be able to access all the workgroup computers from home so that if they have a problem, I can connect remotely. I setup It connects fine, I can see the server without a problem (Both our Server Base Applications work great) but I cannot conenct to any of the other computers in the workgroup. I try to ping their netbios names and It says computer not found. Did I forget to do something, or Am i doing something wrong?

Thanks ahead of time for your help :).

O/S's of the machines you can't ping? Good luck.

ooh sorry they are running 4 of them are Running Windows XP Pro the fifth is Windows 2000 Professional :) ooh and there is another one running Windows 98 but we don't reallyare about that one.

Make sure you are in the same workgroup as the others (network Identification)

Make sure you have the same network ID and subnet mask....

I know I am in the same workgroup and everything...but...I have the VPN assigning outside IPs 10.0.10.x (to VPN users the server is 10.0.10.25 or something) but the internal Network IP is 192.168.100.x should I change what the VPN assigns to that?

THAT DID IT !!
Thanks for saying that about the IPs, I changed what the server assigns for an IP and now it works great! I now have remote access to all the PCs in my shop! awesome. Thanks once again Tek-Tips :)
