Hi!

We are testing an upgrade from WinNT4.0 to Win2K on an IBM xSeries 350 server (only 1 yr old)... setup fails to detect the keyboard and mouse. We've tried plugging the kybd/mouse directly into the server (the first time it was on a kvm switch), and it didn't help. We've also flashed the bios to the latest version, to no avail. any suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks

Try a different keyboard and a different mouse.

Also, try inserting the keyboard and mouse that the server doesn't see into another PC to see if that PC sees the keyboard and mouse.

I am using a known good keyboard and mouse - the keyboard works fine in the BIOS, but as soon as Win2K loads for the first time, I get nothing. Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Hi causemaker,
