When users try to print to a printer located on the network the user gets an error about the there is not enough disk space to print. When I check the C: drive on the server there shows a lost of hard drive space and then after a few mins it reappears. What would be causing this problem and only occurs when users try to print to network printers.

Under Start, Settings printers on the server, choose file server properties. In there is the spool folder setting. Set that to a different drive and its own folder.

Some jobs can be huge - I regularly see 2GB spool jobs...

I tried changing the settings and it says invalid location and name, what does the name have to be?
