Win2K Server FRS problem - Duplicate folders

At work here, we have the lastest Service Pack 2 installed for Windows 2000 Server. But the File Replication Service has recently been creating multiple duplicate directories. (has taken up about 10x the storage space that it should have). The duplicate directories have very similiar names to what they should be.

I looked at the Microsoft site on FRS, and it said that an error (which seems similar to ours) was fixed by Service Pack 2.

Any thoughts?
