Hi, at the moment i've got a win2k server that when boots up runs our of drive space to finish loading the directory structure for windows.

Usuaully i would boot in through safe mode and this would allow me to delete old files, like old log files.

However this time i can't get in. It's asking to do a directory restore, howerver i don't want to do that as it will only cause a load more hassle.

Is it possible without removing the HDD to get into windows in some form, or dos, and delete files that i know i can delete.

hope that makes sense to anyone, thanks in advance. :)

Get there make a boot disk.

Next u need NTFS DOS so you can read the Hard Disk from Dos.

Put that on the Boot disk aswell.

Whack it in the Drive boot off floppy run NTFS DOS and delete to your hearts content

Delete what you want. Reboot .. sorted.
