Hello. I downloaded the latest drivers directly from nVidia. When I tried to install them, I got an error message saying "ERROR: 0x80040702. Setup cannot continue" or something to that effect (the error code is correct, though. I then closed the setup utility and went into the Device Manager to install it directly through Windows by means of the .inf file. It apparently installed, though when I booted up my computer the next time, I got a STOP code (0xC0000265--I think) "Driver entry point not found." Now I have to start my computer in Safe Mode so I can see anything, and Windows 2000 doesn't support driver rollback, so I can't go back to the VGASave driver. I've now reinstalled Win2k but have the same problem. HELP!

Hardware Configuration:
MOBO: ASUS A7N266-VM
CHIPSET: nForce
PROCESSOR: AMD Athlon 1800+ 1.53GHz
RAM: 256MB PC2100 DDR
Video Card: nVidia GeForce 2 32MB (Integrated)

Hello,

When you get the STOP error, do you also get the file name which is causing the error?
The STOP error is caused be a file version mismatch, the version of driver you downloaded is for Win2k, not XP?!?

The file I downloaded was for 2k, not XP. However, I forgot to mention that I was using a Beta version of this software and found out that there were a number of problems that were fixed by the release. One of which was this. I went out and got the release, and now everything works perfectly.
