I am using Win2K Professional's built-in IIS services and
Frontpage server extensions. I am doing local development
of an ASP web app using Visual InterDev 6.0, and when
working in master mode it will not allow me to save my
files to the server. This only started happening
recently, so I think something I have done may have messed
up some setting. I get the error:
"Cannot update the file x.asp. Server Error: could not
create file x.asp"
At first this was only with the files in the subweb's base
directory, not in its subdirectories, but I have since
haplessly screwed around with some settings and now no
directories in the web will allow me to save files (boy do
I feel sheepish).
Has anyone run into this before? How do I solve it?
