I'm using Active Dir on Win2k AS. I had no problem before, but my ISP gave me a new block of IP addresses to use on my network, and ever since then I've had a problem. When users try to log in (i'm using Active Directory) the system takes FOREVER on the "setting personal settings" portion of login. Why is that?
This was working before on all of the computers in the network. For some reason it's just giving me problems now, after I changed the block of ip addresses.
Further info:
I'm using roaming profiles, dhcp, active dir. ... I've tried deleting and re-adding the user profiles (that didn't help)...
Other symptoms:
The client computers seem to take longer on the "network settings" portion of boot than they did before.
