I have a newish pc which picked up the above virus before I put NAV on. I followed NAVs instructions for removal which called for the deletion of non repaired and non quarantined files and a reg edit. On reboot as user I lost all desktop icons. Have I deleted explorer and how can I get to log on as admin from a blank screen. Win98...piece of cake.Win2k...not so sure. Got a lot to learn.
