Win2k on Domain, Win98 on workgroup

I need to be able to access a win2k computer that has been joined to a domain from a win98 computer on a workgroup.

I am pretty sure all I need to do is create a Local User on the Win2k computer with the necessary rights to access the computer and then when the win98 computer connects and asks for the password enter in that user and password. I just wanted to check to be sure.

Can someone verify whether or not the above will work?

Will probably have to log the 98 machine on with the user account name/password you created on the win2k computer.
