I have given a user a Win2K PC. (The PC is not networked, although Novell networking software is installed for future use.) At the Novell logon screen, the user is clicking the button to logon to the workstation only. Shutdown works fine. But if the user chooses to logoff rather than shut down, they get a blank blue screen, and it just sits there. Ctrl+Alt+Del does not get it out of this funk! I checked the power settings on the system, and turned off all power management and turned off Hibernate. Still, logoff causes it to freeze. Any ideas?

I have had problems with the novell client on windows. you may want to try microsoft novell client instead. You can add it were you set your nic card properties. Just add a client and configure it as needed.

Will this be relevant, even though the user is not logging onto the network? She is logging onto the workstation only. (I would just go ahead and try the suggestion; however, the PC in question is at a location I only go to occasionally, so I thought I'd get as much info as I can before going there.) Thanks!

Actually, I installed an updated Novell client, and this resolved the issue. Thanks for your help!
