Does anybody know a reason why defrag should mark files/tracks as 'system files' on an NTFS drive that is not a system drive?

It is a new drive that I **know** could not have any system files on it.

Thanks for any help,

Benjamin

System volume information folder? (2k puts one on each partition)

There is only 1 page file on another drive. It is huge - it takes up about the first 20% of the drive. It is 279Gb (base2) so that makes it ~55Gb big.

I'm thinking now that it must be an error of some kind.
