does anyone know how to add a "computer description" for windows 2000 pro clients? I know for xp, you can right click on my computer, go to properties and select the "computer name" tab and there's a field for "computer description". We have a simple workgroup here (about 30 cpus) and I want to organize it so when I open the workgroup, all the computers display their "computer description" when I view the workgroup folder in "details" view/mode. Hope that makes sense...

I like this part of the article.

Domain administrators can also add comments to remote systems that are members of the same domain by right-clicking Computer Management (Local), clicking Connect to another computer, and then typing the name of the remote system or selecting the remote system from the list
