Win2K client can not find Linux/Apache server on LAN

Hi. I am trying to setup a simple LAN at home using Linux/Apache as my server and Win2K as a client. I can ping the server (192.168.1.100) but it doesn't show up on My Network Places nor does it work if I try to use IE to bring up an HTML page from the server.

Any ideas on where to start?

and search on Samba.

Samba is the daemon on Linux/Unix which does the Windows style File and Print Sharing. New Zealand, a great place to visit.
