Win2k Bootable Disk/CD

Does anyone know how to make a bootable diskette or cd that will allow you to boot a win2k or winXP pc up to a dos prompt. We're having trouble deleting some spyware files. They load in normal and safe mode. If we could get to a dos prompt w/out loading windows we could delete these files easily. Probably a dumb question but we're having lots of problems with spyware.

Download and run in this order:

cwshredder *
SpyBot 1.2 *
AdAware *

* = Update the definition files within the program as the first step.

and you will have a selection of os. If can't boot up from the floppy, try using windows 2000 cd\repair\repair\select c:winnt\and change directory if needed. If you don't know the commands type help.

We already use spybot and adaware. I've never heard of cwshredder. I'll give it a try. Thanks.

I tried booting to the repair part of the win2k cd but it gives an 'access denied' error when I try going into the program files directory. I was logged in as administrator.
Most of what I need to delete is in that directory.
Any other suggestions?

If you can log in safe mode, you should be able to delete the files. Also try

I'd second the pebuilder disk.

You can use recovery console (I assume that's what you maean by repair), but you need to make some changes in Windows first to have access to everything (defaults to root of system drive and the system folder & subfolders - ie, normally \winnt in 2k) -
