win2k and smallbusiness server

I will soon be putting in a win2k server, we already have a nt server running small business and exchange.
Now can I use both servers toghether using the SBS to pick up the e-mails and the 2k for logins and file sharing etc..
And what is the best way going about this task.

Any help would be much appriciated Thankyou.
