Hi,

I am having problem with NT BDC netlogon.
History
-------
We had a Windows NT domain OURDOM, we installed a windows 2003 server and created new domain but the name is same OURDOM( id is different).

Migrated the users and everything is working fine execpt I am seeing this message in event viewer at BDC

No Windows NT Domain Controller is available for domain OURDOM. (This event is expected and can be ignored when booting with the 'No Net' Hardware Profile.) The following error occurred:
There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request.

AT PDC ( Windows 2003 server) I see following error

The computer BDC tried to connect to server \\PDC using the trust relationship establised by the OURDOM. However, the computer lost the correct SID when domain was reconfigured. Reestablish the trust relationship.

I tried to establish the trust but domain name is same and it is not allowed.

Please help to resolve this issue. Thanks a lot in admin.

I've the same your problem.
I'm migrating from a Nt server to w2k3 server.
I've used also migration tools, but i receive your same errors.
have u found a solution ?
i think there is a solution, but is not so easy.
I need to format w2k3 server, install nt server, join this machine to my domain as BDC, detach this machine from lan and update to w2k3.

But i've not tryed again.

thanks
Chris
