I have a dial-up problem. I connect a XP laptop to a win2000 server (via modem on both machines) and can access network files and printers, but not email services or browsing. I think it has something to do with IP configuration. RAS is set up to relay DHCP to our firewall, which acts as a DHCP server and gateway to the internet. But when I dial-up on the client, I can not ping any external IP addresses, I can only ping IP addresses configured on the LAN.
