Hi,
I would like to build a new Windows2000 server,
and want to build it cheep, yet reliable.

What motherboard brand would be best to go with?

any other recommendations?
thanks!
-Peter

The general recommendation is for an Intel chipset based motherboard.
Intel's own chipsets rivals SiS or Via in terms of stability, basing on anecdotal evidence that I've gathered.

I've used the ASUS P4B533 with a P4 2GHz.
Works great. Hasn't crashed with W2k Server.

And the price of the P4B533 is only in the upper mid-range.
