dear all.....this is my first thread so i hope i am in the the right place so ya can help.
i have 2 hdds , 1 60 gig and 1 15 gig...the 60 gig has xp pro with sp 1 installed...iam wanting to install win me on the other hdd an run both dual boot but am un sure of the proceedure.....please could any one clarify the situation to me.
many thanks.......

1. To be able to use XP's boot menu to choose which o/s to load, you need to install ME first (see
2. I prefer to use a third party boot manager ( - free for personal use). If you take this route, all you need to do is install ME on second disk (disconnect main disk while doing this). Once its installed, reconnect XP drive, install boot-us and use it to set up boot menu (you can save boot menu to floppy to test if you wish)

Note: If XP on NTFS, you won't be able to read it while logged on ME. Freeware here will allow ME to read (not write, that costs) ntfs filestore.
