I have winxp pro on several machines. When I go to Windows Explorer and right-click on My Documents, "Sharing" is not one of the options on the list. On my other machines it is there.

Is there a way I can get this back?

Is file and Sharing enabled?

Windows XP
To enable file and print sharing in Windows XP:

1. Click the Start button in the lower left corner of the desktop.
2. Click Settings, then click Control Panel.
3. In the Control Panel, click Network Connections.
4. In the Network Connections window, right-click on the appropriate connection, then select Properties.
5. Check the File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks check box.
6. Click OK, then close the Control Panel window.

I see the same behaviour when I go to the My Documents folder listed in Windows Explorer.

However, if I go to My Computer and choose the My Documents folder I want to share (IE instead of picking My Documents I pick Mike's Documents) you'll receive the sharing menu option.

Not a true answer but a work around for now.
