Hello,

Is it possible to install Oracle 8i on Windows XP Home Edition? Should I look for any patches? Any known problems anyone has faced and their work arounds?
Your help is appreciated !

I know Oracle does not certify any installation on any thing other than Windows XP Pro.

I have never tried or talked with anyone who has tried to apply it to XP home edition.

Possible? - Maybe?
Desirable - Probably Not.

If anything, use V9.2 , especially if you have a P4 processor..
