Win ME to Win 98se

My computer doesn't always boot correctly with Windows ME.
Sometimes I get to my Desktop and There are no icons.
Can I "Downgrade" from Windows ME to Windows 98SE?

Tou can't just downgrade. You'll need a startup disk, and then you boot from that and wipe the drive clean, and start with a clean install. Remember to save your data!!!!

if you originally upgraded from 98 to ME and chose to save your win98 configuration, you can "uninstall" windows ME. Go to control panel, Add/Remove programs, and uninstall (Microsoft) Windows Millenium Edition. [pc3]
