(Windows 2000)I have found info on the various switches for changing the default view for explorer but I am slightly confused -- the instructions that I have found say:
------------------
1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Accessories, right-click Windows Explorer, and then click Properties.
2. Click the Shortcut tab.
3. Add the following text behind the text in the Target box:
/e,/root,
The text in the Target box should then appear as:
%systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,/root,
4. Click OK. When you start Windows Explorer, the root drive is the default view.
--------------------
However, I do not have Windows Explorer shortcut on the menus anywhere --- and even if I did this wouldn't affect the Start - RightClick selection, right? That is how I am accustomed to opening windows explorer. I have created my own shortcut and can achieve the desired result but I would like to apply it to the "right-click" as well.
Any help appreciated.
