Win 98 wireless LAN-- no internet

I have a wireless network at home...two macs running airport successfully, accessing the internet using Roadrunner and a cable modem. I have installed a Belkin wireless desktop network card in my wife's Win98 Aptiva.

The Aptiva actually successfully hooked up to the network, and accessed the internet using the belkin card **UNTIL** I shut it down and restarted. Now I can't get it to work no matter what I try.

The browser window says it is trying to find 'proxy settings', but I know I shouldn't be using a proxy server. I've tried going through the set-up wizard, setting up as a LAN, to no avail.

Any help would be most appreciated... as you can probably tell I'm a mac person, and am really lost when it comes to windows settings.

Noticed your question had not been answered for some time. Not too sure if what I'm going to say helps.

Do you have the right drivers for the wireless card? Maybe you could download them from

http://www.helpdrivers.com/ingles/listado/panel.asp?marca=Belkin&perif=impresoras

and give it another shot.
