Not sure if this will fit in software or hardware but it's a hardware problem at this time...
This thing is ancient firstly and is running on win95 and it's just an ugly lil thing. It was running all ok and then aim express is running. I think somewhere resources ran out, or I don't know what, but it either went into a sleep mode, or shut down and the screen was stuck, I thought it was just frozen. I tried turning on and off, to no avail, I thought it was putting it into sleep mode. I thought hey, lets let the battery run out then charge it back up. I did this and the same screen was there when I booted it up. That is all I see, mouse locked, everything. Is it possible that the monitor is just blown? I don't know what to do. I have a separate 19 inch set up to it and the picture doesn't show at all on it, just black screen. but when I boot with it unplugged, it will show the screen on the laptop. So if there are any suggestions, recommendations, anything, I would be most grateful.
thanks
