Win 2k Terminal Services question

I am running a server with an accounting program on it that is used by both remote and local users. Right now, the remote users are using go to my pc. I want to set up a seperate server as a terminal services server for the remote users instead of having three dedicated gotomypc computers for 8 users. My question is, can I set up a seperate Terminal Server and have it allow remote users to access the accounting program on a seperate server, or do I have to install terminal services on the accounting server? And if I can use two servers, how do I set up the applications to run for my remote users?

So long as the application has a client program, all you need to do is install that program on the Terminal Server. You will want to do so by first going into Add/Remove Programs as this informs the TS box that the application it installs is to be shared among TS users.

our accounting application is hosted on one server, and all our workstations use a local copy of the program to access the data on the server. So, I guess I should just install the client program under terminal services, right?

Also, is there any good, free resources you can point me to for help on setting up TS?

Yes, install on the TS box. Best resource in my opinion is support.microsoft.com. You can find whitepapers there and any other info you need for a successful deployment. Search is your friend.
