Hey there,
I have a weird problem. I have a Windows 2000 advanced server that I am using for a file server. It has service pack 4 installed. Every day or two, the network resources seem to be unusable, and very very slow. When I check the windows 2000 server, indeed everything is slow on it. I check the task list, and the CPU is at 100%, and the SYSTEM process is using most of that resource. Is there a way to break down what the SYSTEM process is actually doing? Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the solution may be? This server has run fine up until a week or 2 ago.
Any advice appreciated.
