This past weekend I disassembled my server reassembled them in a new server rack. When I restarted the servers; I received many errors messages. One that comes up continually throughout the day is:

Source: perflib
Event ID: 1008
The Open Procedure for service "FileReplicaConn" in DLL C:\WINNT\system32\NTFRSPRF.dll" failed. Performance data for this service will not be available. Status code returned is data DWORD 0.

Is there anybody who may be able to help with this? I had gone onto the Microsoft website and did not find much about this problem.

Thanks

I did not find anything that corrispondes with what I was looking for. Does anybody have any suggestions about this issue.

NTFRS is the file replication system:
If your server is a domain controller it is the subsystem that deals with active directory and SYSVOL replication; otherwise if the server participates in a DFS tree, same applies.

If this is the case:
Have you checked to see if replication is occuring correctly?

you can try this tool: Ultrasound
download: other info:

worth checking replication to be sure...
Since the error itself mentions the DLL NTFRS, but it's source is 'perflib', so it's the performance counters that are not working.

If replication is working fine, look to disabling the performance counters....
