Good morning,
I am currently using BE 8.5 to back up my servers.
Recently I have had a few workstaions fail and I realize I need to back them up as well.
Looking around this forum, I have found that BE 9.x will back up to a file instead of only to a back up device.
SO, I have a disk array hung off the Veritas server and this is what I would like to do. Have Veritas go out to the indvidual workstations and back up what needs backing up. I would like those backed up to the disk array and then copy those to tape.
My question is this...can I run concurrent back up jobs to disk in Veritas? Something like create 3 jobs that each back up 5 workstations and put that all to disk at the same time.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
Jamie
