Thanks for the response - I think I am looking to setup a different workspace for each dept. This would probably give me the the best ability to grant permissions as well as individuals, to mangae there depts site.
How am I going to use Share Point? Well, in testing I setup a Share Point site. Now management wants to create a site for each dept. Allow one person to manage the data for each dept. Used for posting documents, Sharing information, etc. I am sure I have only scratched the surface of SharePoint. I have only had it installed for 5 days.
You will probably see my name in this forum alot. I know nothing about SQL. I will have more problems installing SQL than the actual site.
