will not print to any thing but tray one

Hi,

Ive got 10 win98 clients that print to my posh xerox dc440 with no problems.. 3 new windows xp machines.. print but ignore any tray settings that may have been specified.

i've tried older and newer versions of ps aznd pcl drivers all to no avail..

xerox tech support have examined a prn i mailed em and say it should be printing to the extra trays ok but its not.

i am now scratching my head , any ideas folks ?

what are you printing out of? office? have you setup the extra trays in the properties of the printer?

each time you print a new document have you went to properties to see what tray it will be printing to? I know our HP Printers here are setup on the device to print from the lowest tray with paper. (unless the top tray has paper in it for custom paper printing)

thanks for the responses...

it turns out it was the tray settings on the posh xerox printer, they where set to expect us letter size whereas mugginbs here as of course changing them clients to a4....
