Hi,

Have domain 'mydomain1.com' running on a server with MX records for the domain pointing to a different IP far away to handle mail.

Want to transfer 'mydomain1.com' to a different server with different nameservers but keep existing MX reords. Once transfered will the current MX record settings remain the same?

Get very confused with DNS..

any help gratefully appreciated!

There is no reason why any of the incumbent data should change. Just make sure that when you transfer the domain to another DNS provider you ask them very nicely to create the records on their server with the existing data. That way the transfer should be seamless.

Chris.
