Hi,

I was just in the Windows forum and was told to post my questions here...here goes:

I like to listen to winamp radio, and I want to be able to record the songs from the internet radio. The music that you can listen to streams off the net, so there are no files to download.

I was wondering that if I install a winamp lug-in called "line-in"...

...Can I plug a cable into my headphones jack and plug the other end into my line-in jack on my sound card without wrecking my sound card?

I just want to make sure that nothing crosses within the sound card.

Anyone know the potential outcome of my future experiment?

Thanks, [cheers]
Nate

It shouldn't hurt it man, if the signal from your headphones jack is not pre-amped much or not at all ....

There's no problem with doing that - the speaker jack doesn't care where the music goes to, and neither does the line-in jack care where the music is coming from.
