What I'm trying to do is at work I have 500+ sites that we remote desktop to. I need to check to see if there dial-in numbers work on a dialy basis. as you can see this can be pretty tediouse. So what I'm trying to find is a package that I can schedule at night to dial out to these sites and write a log file or has a built in reporting system to tell me this dialer (name/phone#) connected, busy,no answer. this way I can quickly spend my time figuring out why there not answering then sitting there for 3+ hours dialing in and disconnecting.

Will procomm do this or is there another software package out there that would do this?

Thank you in Advance
Troy

You could do this with Procomm and a script, but there are some other programs that were made to do the job. What you'll want to look for is a wardialer program such as Tone Loc (freeware I think) or Phonesweep (commercial).
