Will CVLAN work under CM3+?

That depends.
Oficially no (that means Avaya says no, no support, but if you ask friendly they still do, under certain conditions)
If it is a migration of an existing install, yes, it will probably run:
If it was in the system during upgrades from Definity to x8700, it probably will,on CM3, if it is a MAPD.
If you got a brand new setup, it probably won't as Avaya only migrates the needed protocols for existing customers, but not for new installation.
You have to specifically mention on an upgrade you want the MAPD migrated.
