Will BE 9.0 backup up Registry without OFO?

I have 25 servers and 25 licenses for Remote Agent and AOFO, but I'm having so many problems with the Open File Option I don't want to renew my maintenance on them. What problems will I run into doing disaster recovery if I only use the Remote Agent for Backups? Will I be able to restore Windows NT registries?

I perform full backups every night using 4 HP DLT 80 external tape drives. I have licenses for all of SQl and Exchange databases that need to be backed up, so that stuff is taken care of.
