Hi People,
I know this has probably been asked before, but until search is working again, Im a little stuck.
I have set up the criteria on a query as below:
This works fine when I enter a complete string that resides in the field. However it returns nothing when I input a partial string.

Like [Forms]![FormName]![FieldName]

I know it is returning nothing because Im missing the wildcard characters, but what syntax do I need to enter to be able to input partial strings, whilst maintaining my reference to the original form field?

Is it possible ?

Hope someone can help
Thanks
Mike

I think it would be
Code:
Like "*" & [Forms]![FormName]![FieldName]& "*"

IT WORKS !!!
So blindingly obvious.....Thanks.
I already use it all the time in Excel to format SAP reports.
Ive been struggling with this for two days now. I must have been brain dead the last few days .

Thanks for the help

Mike
